Your use of this web site and input of any information or data from you is subject to this Policy. Using this site is your binding agreement.
What we collect. Decadio collects personally-identifying information (such as your name, email address, address, telephone number and/or credit card information) from the Decadio website only if you choose to provide that information to us. You are making that choice if you provide us your email when creating an account, if you provide your email address and other information when signing up for a Beta Tester Agreement, when ordering from the Web site online, even during the Beta test phase, when you Opt In to receive Newsletters from us, and when you order anything from us.
“Non-Personally-Identifying Information” is information that, without the aid of additional information, cannot be directly associated with a specific person.
“Personally-Identifying Information,” by contrast, is information such as a name or email address that, without more, can be directly associated with a specific person.
Decadio’s Web server automatically creates log files for each visitor who accesses our site. These log files are saved as “Non-Personally-Identifying Information,” that do NOT record a visitor’s name, address, phone number, credit card numbers, or any other personally identifying information. Rather, they contain some or all of the following information of a general nature:
Cookies. A “Web Cookie” is a string of information that a website stores on a user’s computer, and that the user’s browser provides to the website each time the user submits a query to the site. Decadio uses Web Cookies to track the pages that users visit during each Website session, both to help Decadio improve users’ experiences and to help Decadio understand how the Website is being used. Cookies allow web applications to tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. Decadio uses this information for statistical analysis. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
As with other Non-Personally-Identifying Information gathered from users of the Website, Decadio analyzes and discloses in aggregated form information gathered using Web Cookies, so as to help Decadio, its partners and others better understand how the Website is being used. Decadio does not attempt to link information gathered using Web Cookies to Personally-Identifying Information.
DECADIO USERS WHO DO NOT WISH TO HAVE WEB COOKIES PLACED ON THEIR COMPUTERS SHOULD SET THEIR BROWSERS TO REFUSE WEB COOKIES BEFORE ACCESSING THE WEBSITE, WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT CERTAIN FEATURES OF THE WEBSITE MAY NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY WITHOUT THE AID OF WEB COOKIES. WEBSITE USERS WHO REFUSE WEB COOKIES ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RESULTING LOSS OF FUNCTIONALITY.
What we do with the information we gather. The use of personally-identifying information is limited to the following:
Decadio uses non-identifying aggregate information to analyze use of the Decadio website and to share with third parties in aggregate form only as appropriate for reporting purposes. Like most website operators, Decadio gathers from users of the Website Non-Personally-Identifying Information of the sort that Web browsers, depending on their settings, may make available. That information includes the user’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, operating system and browser type, and the locations of the Web pages the user views right before arriving at, while navigating and immediately after leaving the Website.
Decadio analyzes Non-Personally-Identifying Information gathered from users of the Website to help Decadio better understand how the Website is being used. By identifying patterns and trends in usage, Decadio is able to better design the Website to improve users’ experiences, both in terms of content and ease of use.
From time to time, Decadio may also release the Non-Personally-Identifying Information gathered from Website users in the aggregate, such as by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Website.
Personally-identifying information collected by Decadio is not provided to outside parties unless required to do so by law, or if Decadio believes that such action is necessary to comply with the law or with legal process, or to protect against misuse of the Decadio website.
Marketing Communications — if users opt-in to receive Decadio marketing materials upon registration — Decadio will email users about products and services that Decadio believes may be of interest to them. Decadio also will provide users’ email information to third parties, so that those third parties may directly contact users about additional products and services. If a user wishes to opt-out of having their email information provided to third parties at any time after registration, they may do so by sending Decadio an email at email@example.com. Even after opting-out, a user may continue to receive marketing emails from third parties to whom Decadio already has provided the user’s email information. Users will be responsible for directly contacting such third parties to request cessation of further marketing emails.
Security. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place what we believe to be suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Credit card information provided is protected against unauthorized use by 128-bit encryption and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security features.
Children. The Decadio Website is not intended for children under 13 years of age. Decadio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Controlling Your Personal Information. If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by signing into your Account and making the changes. You may also delete your Account, but that will prevent you from making some use of the Site and from ordering products from us.
